One pass loosens large particles, scrubs out the remaining residue with a bronze brush* and then swabs it all spotless with a cleaning area 160 times larger than a standard patch.

Add a few drops of Hoppe's No.9 lubricating oil or Hoppe's Elite and your gun is ready to lock away.

Especially for at least the first few uses, it is recommended to use Hoppe’s No.9 Solvent (or similar, such as Parker Hale 009).

AFter that add a few drops of Hoppe's No.9 lubricating oil, Hoppe's Elite or Parker Hale Mineral Oil and your gun is ready for storage.

The BoreSnake is machine washable, although a bucket of soapy water is probably preferable.


The fluffy floss end is only found on the shotgun sizes.

*The bronze brush is not on the .177 airgun size, so not to damage the gun's breech seal.
