Rod made from Mischmetal Ferrocerium.
80mm long overall x 8mm diameter ferro rod.
With 4mm diameter drilled hole for fitting a lanyard.
Approx 28 grams.
Colour ~ black coating.
The rod has a protective black coating that is scraped away before use.
You would need a scraper / striker steel or the back edge of a knife blade to create the sparks needed to start a fire (not included).
You can use the hole to attached a lanyard or to fit a handle if preferred.
Please Note: lanyard not included.
