AR-15 cleaning link gunsmiths tool for rear pin.
Designed to hold the upper and lower receiver in position to allow cleaning from the breech.
Prevents upper from diving forward when cleaning.
Makes it easy to clean the upper receiver without separating it completely from the lower receiver.
Uses the original rear pin and pin hole for attachment.
Machined from 6061 aluminium.
Mini link that will allow you to lock your AR into a partially open position, that makes cleaning fairly easy.
With a pin at one end that slips into the take down pin hole in the upper receiver and a hole at the other that allows it to be pinned into the lower receiver, by the rear take down pin.
Effectively locks your AR in a partially open position, that allows for easy removal of the bolt carrier group and easy access for a chamber bore guide and cleaning rod.
The link can be put in place while the rifle is resting on a sandbag, locked in a bench vice, or with the forend supported by a bipod.
