These guides protect the end of your gun barrel, as well as the finish on your cleaning rods.
They fit onto the cleaning rod and then into the barrels crown to safely guide the cleaning rod without risking damage when you have to clean from the muzzle end.
Please Note: do not use the brass guides with coated (nylon etc) cleaning rods.
The polymer version: heavy-duty nylon design also protects the finish on your coated, stainless steel and brass cleaning rods.
Please Note: the recent batch of .270 cal polymer guides are very slightly too narrow to fit the .270 cal Parker-Hale pistol barrel rods.
