PUSH BUTTON SLING SWIVEL BASES
Option of a pairs of standard non-threaded bases or new threaded type.
Offers a flush finish when the sling is removed.
Quick release with no squeak or rattle, simply press the button on you sling swivel and pull out.
Blued steel design.
THE STANDARD RIFLE PLACEMENT:
The forend fitting should ideally be 13 to 17 inches forward of the trigger.
The buttstock fitting should be 2 to 2.5 inches forward of the butt pad.
- STANDARD NON-THREADED
Needs an approx ½" deep by ½" wide drilled hole into where you wish to fix the swivels.
Then coat the hole with epoxy resin and push in the receiver, which has grooves to anchor in the resin, plus a hole to allow it to be screwed in for the ultimate hold.
This options offers a cleaner overall finished appearance.
Please Note: the base section dimensions can vary from batch to batch, usually either a
shorter 12.8mm x 12.7mm diameter base or a longer 15.4mm x 11.9mm diameter (external).- THREADED
Extra strong threaded base sockets.
Requires a 0.5" or a 33/64" drilled hole approx 9/16" to 5/8" deep.
Then tapped with a 9/16-18 UNF 2B tap.
The base accepts a 1/4" hexagon / Allen head bit.
Also available ~ 10mm Flush fit Sling Swivels and 10mm Flush fit Socket to QD Stud Adapters.
