Threaded adapter stud for 5/16"-24 TPI from 10-24 TPI.
Designed to upgrade fixed rifle bolt grips to accept threaded grips.
It will allow you to fit 5/16-24 threaded bolt grips such as those found on the Remington 700, Ruger Precision and others.
Overall length ~ 27mm.
Weighs 7 grams.
You would need this thread adapter if replacing a factory fitted non-threaded fixed grip.
It fits most brands of bolt knobs that are drilled and tapped for 5/16"-24 TPI.
Cut off the existing knob.
Drill and tap a 10-24 TPI threaded hole into the bolt handle shank.
Screw in the thread adapter.
Then screw on any 5/16x24 threaded knob.
