AIR ARMS REAR DIOPTER TARGET SIGHT

This is the all new compact model of rear diopter that is usually found included by Air Arms with the MPR Biathlon (Sporter, Precision) and TS400 Target Sprint air rifles.
It is also popular for use with the Air Arms S200 Sporter air rifle.
Fits standard 9-11mm dovetail rails.
Fully adjustable, micro adjustment, windage and elevation dials.
Aluminium frame with steel fittings.
There is no rubber concertina eyepiece with this model, but the diameter of the eyepiece is 25mm and should be a good fit for the Gehmann rubber eyepiece.
Overall length ~ 70mm.
Rail fitting length ~ 28mm.
Overall width with side dial ~ 36mm.
Overall height ~ 43mm.
Weight ~ 122 grams.
Especially designed for target rifles for 10 meter targeting shooting.
Fits Air Arms S200 and MPR rifles, and most rifles with dovetail sight rails.
The eyepiece is threaded, so it can be removed (we have not yet identified the thread type, US are usually 7/32x40, EU and some UK are 9.5mm x 1mm, or UK can be 3/8"x26 TPI.

Loosen the mounting screw and slide the rear aperture sight on to the dovetail of your rifle:
Position the sight as required and tighten the mounting screw to secure the sight in place.
Elevation and windage is controlled by micro click adjustable knobs.
The point of impact changes by approx 0.65mm per click on a target at a distance of 10 metres.
If the shot impacts low, then turn the elevation knob clockwise to raise the point of impact:
If the shot impacts high, then turn the elevation knob counter-clockwise to lower the point of impact.
If the shot impacts left, then turn the windage knob counter-clockwise to move the point of impact to the right.
If the shot impacts right, then turn the windage knob clockwise to move the point of impact to the left.

Loosen the mounting screw and slide the front aperture sight on the dovetail rail of your rifles muzzle (railed muzzles available on our other pages).
Position the sight as required and tighten the mounting screw to secure the sight in place.
Unscrew the locking piece to remove the sighting piece element inside.
Place in your new sized sighting piece element and replace the locking piece.
