Rifle forend QD swivel stud to rail adapter.
For Atlas bipods and similar.
71mm long overall.
38mm long three slot rail length.
Aluminium base with steel fittings.
Black anodised finish body with a stainless steel stud.
For most but no all 20mm wide Weaver / Picatinny rail fitting bipods.
The QD stud extension piece has an internal diameter of 11mm to fit over your existing QD stud.
The smooth cross bar is 3.5mm in diameter.
Weighs approx 50 grams.
Sling stud bipod rail adapter for 20mm rail fitting bipods.
With a sling stud extension so you don't lose out on the stud.
FITTING GUIDE:
Simply place the stainless steel swivel stud extension over your existing swivel QD stud.
Push the retaining bar through the extension stud and your original QD stud.
Place the main rail body over the extension stud and hold in place whilst screwing on the large locking.
COMPATIBILITY INFORMATION:
The original QD stud rail adapter model will not accept Accu-Tac 1913 Picatinny rail fitting bipods, as the location bars will not line up (the cross sections are too wide), we have not yet tested on this new adapter but the cross slots are closer, we have tested it with the Spartan Valhalla bipod and that did fit.
However the spacings do not line to accept the MDT GRND-POD.
They will likely not fit the factory fitted stud on CZ 457 rifles, as CZ usually have Euro spec QD studs 3mm diameter QD swivel bars, yet most QD swivels are US spec with 3.6mm diameter bars.
Please note: check if your QD stud is over 9.5mm in diameter, as they fit stud heads up to 9.5mm in diameter and length, however we occasionally get one that only fits up to 9mm, which will then not fit the standard QD studs, it is very rare, but if any problems please let us know.
