Railed handguard throw-lever head adapter.
17S STYLE BIPOD HEAD QD ADAPTER
Condition: New
17S style throw lever adapter mount with 0.5" of elevation.
Based on the 17S NATO STANAG spec mounting interface, that was originally designed for lasers, optics and light mounts, and now used to secure an even wider range of devices.
The channel is approx 9.2mm (0.36 inch) wide and 2.7mm (0.10 inch) deep.
Designed to allow compatibly devices to fit the standard STANAG channel and allow for securing via two points.
Please note however that there is no standard agreed for the hole sizes or spacings, so adaption maybe needed there.
Smooth functioning QD lever with auto-lock.
Superior clamping surface to insure maximum rail engagement.
Multi-faceted adjustment nut to get the exact tension required, without damaging the rail surface.
It can be adjusted with your finger or a flat blade screwdriver, it does not require proprietary tools for adjustment.
Made from aircraft aluminium with matte anodising.
Similar idea to the adapter that is included with most (but not all) of the Lever Mounted Atlas bipods (LW).
This adapter should fit most of the range of No Clamp (NC) Atlas bipods (but not all).
