Adaptor base for 3/8" dovetail rail rifle to Weaver rail.
Three piece design, the top rail section is one piece, then with two clamping jaws, allowing you to precisely center the adapter on your rifles sight rail.
They allow for adjustment of up to 100 MOA of elevation.
The droop compensator elevation screw is at the rear of the adapter with the front end being hinged.
There is also a reversible / removable recoil stop pin at the front end of the adaptor.
Please Note: the top slot spacings are more suited for Weaver mounts, as they are not as close together as on Picatinny rails, but will still accept many Picatinny mounts.
TO ADJUST THE MOUNT:
Slightly loosen the four side set screws, to allow the centre section to move, before being able to adjusting the elevation screw.
A clockwise turn will move the impact point higher, one turn is approx 1cm per metre.
Ensure that the elevation pin presses on the top of the receiver, before re-tightening the side clamp set screws.
Fine adjustment can then be done via your sight / scope dials.
You would likely have to remove scope rings to adjust the rail.
For converting standard 3/8" wide UK dovetail rails, to accept 20mm wide Weaver and some Picatinny mounts.
