Steel threaded rifle muzzle fitting jam nut.
Choice of: 1/2x28 (.223) UNEF or 5/8x24 (.308) UNEF thread.
Made of heat treated steel.
Colour ~ matte black.
Fitted to the threaded muzzle before fitting your muzzle device.
Then when the muzzle device is fitted at the correct orientation the jam nut is tightened against it, jamming it in place.
No gunsmithing required.
