Converts the factory thread of 8mm x .75mm to 1/2-20 UNF or 1/2-28 UNEF American standard.
Allows any 1/2" (20 UNF / 28 UNEF) moderator to be fitted to Umarex Colt .22LR, Umarex HK416 .22LR, the new Hammerli Tac R1, S&W M&P22 (Walther Design), Walther P22 Pistols, and other M8x0.75 threads.
The adapter features two flat ridges for installation / removal with a wrench and includes a thread protector to protect the 1/2x20 / 1/2x28 threads for use without an accessory or when in storage.
The thread protector has a fine diamond knurl.
Please Note: Newer models of some 416 .22LR may now be factory threaded for 1/2"x28, sorry we do not know when or if this changed.
Option of M8x.75 to 1/2-20 or 1/2-28 TPI adapter.
The adapter and protector are made of high carbon steel, finished in black oxide.

Please Note: these are not designed for the Umarex .177 replica Colt M4 single shot spring air rifle with break barrel (2.4964 / 2.4981).
We believe those are M14x1 threaded and we can supply an adapter to either 1/2″x28 UNEF or 5/8″-24 UNEF threads.
